Tours: Bloc Party plans special fan club tour

British quartet Bloc Party have announced a special UK tour to preview material from their upcoming follow up to Silent Alarm.

The band plans to begin recording the album in February and are currently projecting a late Summer 2006 release. The group has already recorded some new material with producer Ben Hiller (U2, Blur) but has not confirmed Hiller as the producer.

Since the release of the album, the band has toured the US twice as well as releasing both a remix album, Silent Alarm Remixed, and a new two song EP, Two More Years.

Only members of the fan club will be able to get tickets for the tour, and information on joing can be found here.
