The Ratchets announce plans for new record
The Ratchets have announced plans to enter the Atomic Recording Company studio in March with producer Bob Strakele (Bouncing Souls, Hold Steady, New Mexican Disaster Squad) to record their new full length. The record will be released by Pirates Press Records, the label responsible for the 7" picture disc box set that featured the Ratchets along with bands like the Bouncing Souls, the Explosion and the Riverboat Gamblers. The record, which has yet to be titled, will be the first recording to feature former River City Rebels drummer Erik Schmidt, who joined the Ratchets last year.
Rough demo versions of the songs "Cathedral Bells," "Human Amplifier" and "Irritated" can be found on the band's new website now.
