Foundation (Ann Beretta) working on new material
Foundation, Rob Huddleston of Ann Beretta's folk project, is currently recording new material. While Ann Beretta is on a hiatus, Rob has enlisted a full band to back him this time around, consisting of former Ann Beretta parter Russ Jones on drums and Johnny Throckmorton (Alabama Thunderpussy) on bass. The band is currently recording with Avail singer Tim Barry's sister Caitlin playing violin, but she is not yet confirmed as a touring or performing member of the band. Currently there is no label or release date associated with any of the new material.
The band has posted demos and a live album on their website.
In related news, Rob will be appearing on the upcoming Replacements Tribute on 1-2-3-4 Go! Records with former Inquisition bandmate (and current Strike Anywhere frontperson) Thomas Barnett performing "Achin' To Be Here" and "Here Comes a Regular."
Rob released the Foundation self titled album on Fueled By Ramen in 2001 and the Homecoming 7" on 1-2-3-4 Go! in 2002.
