Desa announce title, label; still looking for drummer

Desa has released some more information about their upcoming full length. The band has titled the album, Arriving Alive and is currently in the final stages of mixing.

A release is planned through the band and MDB records and the date is expected shortly. The band also recorded two additional songs and described the scene:

Last weekend we took a trip down to Seal Beach, home of the RX Bandits. We wanted to catch up with our friends before they head over to the UK and while we were at it we set up our gear in Matt Embree's garage and recorded two new songs. Chris Tsagakis filled in on the drums, and proceeded to blow our minds. We've all watched him play before, but actually playing with him is just ridiculous. You can probably hear us laughing on the tracks every time Chris did a crazy fill. We don't know what we are doing with these songs yet, but they slay. Speaking of slaying...

The band, which includes members of ska/punk act Link-80, previously released Year in a Red Room and Demonstrates Birth. The band is currently auditioning drummers to replace drummer Joey Bustos who left to join Street to Nowhere.
