Image Entertainment to release "Bastards of Young" DVD set

On June 6th Image Entertainment will release a two DVD set titled "Bastards of Young." While named after the famous Replacements anthem the set in fact is billed as having the goal of chronicling "rise of the modern punk, emo and hardcore music scene." The set will feature concert footage and documentary features on a number of popular new school acts including Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Underoath, Matchbook Romance, From Autumn for Ashes and more. Interview footage with bands like Jimmy Eat World, Fall Out Boy and others will be included as well. The DVD was created and produced by Michelle Caputo and directed by Shannon Hartman of Art and Industry.
The DVD's press release included testimonials from several acts involved, including this from Midtown's Rob Hitt

"Bastards Of Young couldn't be more on point. The DVD is an accurate account of what
it's like to grow up in not only the New Jersey music scene but in punk music. As I
watched it I felt 10 years younger reliving all the moments I remember so vividly.
In so many ways, the BOY DVD is like a video biography of my life growing up."
