Audio Karate working on new album, guitarist opens studio

Jason Camacho, guitarist of Audio Karate has officially launched his new studio, named Lady Melody after the band's previous release.

Jay had this to say:

Having worked with excellent producers and engineers in
the past, Bill Stevenson/Jason Livermore (Descendents,Black Flag, Rise Against, NOFX) and Trever Keith/Chad
Blinman (Face to Face, Get up Kids, Moneen), I learned a
lot and developed a pretty clear picture of what I'd
want in a studio.

In related news, the band has apparently regrouped to work on a new full length. They went on hiatus in December 2004 but are
apparently finishing up their follow up to
Lady Melody with more information expected soon.

The band also posted a cryptic message on their myspace which said:

While another 50,000 no talent, no taste, bitch made ass people will claim to write and create music today, to "start a band" and be rockers, it is incredible to know that you are actually good at what you do.
