Tours: Henry Rollins - Life After Warped
Billboard.com has announced Henry Rollins' plans after the end of the Warped Tour. The plans include a new Rollins Band album entitled "Nice" coming out on August 21st on Sanctuary Records, and a short tour before that. To read the full article and see the tour dates, click on "Read More."
The day after the Warped Tour wraps Aug. 9, the Rollins Band will embark on its own headlining jaunt. The group is currently scheduled to be on the road until a Sept. 3 date in Seattle, but more dates will be added, according to a spokesperson for the band. Henry Rollins and company are also scheduled to a play a couple one-off dates in Southern California at the end of July, hitting Santa Ana on the 26th and Ventura on the 27th.
The tour will take the band through the release of its latest album, "Nice," due Aug. 21 via Sanctuary Records. The set was recorded last summer, with engineering work done by frequent associate Clif Norrell.
Rollins made his debut last night (July 12) as the host of Fox's anthology series "Night Visions." The "Twilight Zone"-like program airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m., and will feature such upcoming guests as Bridget Fonda, Thora Birch, Bill Pullman, and Chad Lowe.
The band's last DreamWorks set, last year's "Get Some Go Again," peaked at No. 180 on The Billboard 200. Prior to joining the Warped Tour, Rollins had been busy on his latest spoken-word expedition in support of the Quarterstick album "A Rollins in the Wry."
