Darker My Love sign to Dangerbird Records
Dangerbird Records has signed Darker My Love and has a self-titled album in the works for an August 22nd release date. The band features Tim Presley and Andy "Outbreak" Granelli, both founding members of the Nerve Agents. Granelli also drummed as part of the Distillers for a period. Joining them are bassist Rob Barbato and guitarist Jared Everett. The label describes the band's sound as "droning guitars with brooding post punk recalling the feedback-filled days of Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine and the Velvet Underground."
Darker My Love have a few shows coming up next month. On May 9th they'll both open for Angels and Airwaves at the Troubador in Los Angeles while headlining at Safari Sam's later that evening. On June 11th the band will take part of the Echo KXLU Fundraiser in Echo Park, CA.
