Rise Against's "The Sufferer and the Witness" set for release in July
Rise Against have announced a July 11th, 2006 release date for their next full length. The album is titled The Sufferer & The Witness.
Along with the date, the band has added a new flash intro with a portion of a track likely to appear on the album.
The band will be playing three "exclusive" and sold out shows in LA this May. From May 16th through the 18th, the band will be performing at the Troubadour with Strike Anywhere and a rotating opening band. Bands occupying the rotating opening slot include Authority Zero, Love Equals Death and The Blackout Pact.
The band has also indicated plans to tour internationally in the fall, after their Warped Tour jaunt.
The album is the follow up to 2004's Siren Song of the Counter Culture which was followed by a reissue of their 2001 debut, The Unravelling.
