The Distance reveal information about "The Rise, The Fall, and Everything In Between"
Connecticut hardcore act the Distance have revealed some more information about their Abacus debut. The band recorded this past January with Shep Goodman (Head Automatica, Bayside). The album is titled The Rise, the Fall, and Everything in Between and is set for release on June 27th, 2006.
Along with the normal release, they are planning a special limited edition version, due to street the same day, which will include DVD featuring the video for "Inspired By You", a making-of the video, and documentary
about the making of the record.
This month the band will lead into the release with an iTunes and retail EP, titled Inspired By For (For the Broken Hearted). It will include the previously 7-inch only cover of "Anything, Anything" by Dramarama.
Both discs follow the band's recent rarities compilation, the Think Fast!-released If You Lived Here You'd Be Home Already.
The band will begin touring on May 25th alongside Lovehatehero (Ferret) and The Smashup (Warcon). You can click read More for both track listings and the first batch of confirmed tour dates.
