New Thermals album out in August
The Thermals' new album The Body, The Blood, The Machine is set for release on August 22nd via Sub Pop. The follow up to 2004's Fuckin A was recorded at Supernatural Sound Studios in Oregon City by Fugazi's Brendan Canty. With the departure of original Thermals drummer in late 2005, bassist Kathy Foster and gutiarist / vocalist Hutch Harris split up the drumming duties (as well as keyboard / organ) during the sessions. The band does have a new drummer now, with Caitlin Love recently joining the Portland band.
The Thermals are headed out to Europe this July for a tour. Click below for the currently announced dates as well as the track listing for the new record.
