Tours: Nikki Corvette and the Stingrays touring in June

Nikki Corvette and the Stingrays are headed out on the road in June to support their new full length Back To Detroit. The album, Nikki's first of all new material after 25 years, will be released this summer via Dollar Record Records. You can check music from the band, described as "a mixture of classic Nikki and the Corvettes sound and all of the great powerpop and punk rock that preceeded it and that it inspired" via the band's MySpace page and click below for the dates.

Nikki Corvette was the principle member of power pop group Nikki and the Corvettes, who released a sole self-titled LP through Bomp in 1980. The band is credited with influencing acts like Donnas, the 5.6.7.8.s among others.
