Tours: Darker My Love plans Spaceland Residency, dates with AFI

Dangerbird Records act Darker My Love has announced a series of upcoming tour dates ncluding a residency at LA's Spaceland and a few dates with AFI.

The band has a self-titled album in the works for an August 22nd release date. It features Tim Presley and Andy "Outbreak" Granelli, both founding members of the Nerve Agents. Granelli also drummed as part of the Distillers for a period. Joining them are bassist Rob Barbato and guitarist Jared Everett. The label describes the band's sound as "droning guitars with brooding post punk recalling the feedback-filled days of Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine and the Velvet Underground."
