Isis release updates, side projects
Isis have posted an update on their plans for the coming year. The band, who recently wrapped up the first leg of their tour, had this to say:
So first of all, the LIVE 4 CD will be arriving in our webstore very shortly. The minute it arrives we will let you know.
Second, the ISIS / Aereogramme collaboration for the In the Fishtank series should be ready in August...
Third, there is lots of stuff going on with various ISIS affiliated projects to keep everyone's ears occupied until the DVD comes out and we finish this record...
The Gersch CD comes out 6.06.06 on TORTUGA Recordings. The Gersch was Clifford's main sonic outlet previous to his invlovement with ISIS. For fans of Melvins (of course), Sonic Youth, AmRep, etc. The CD will be available at the HydraHead Store.
Clifford also has another project called Windmills By The Ocean that is finally going to see the light of day August 8th courtesy of Robotic Empire.
Besides trying to eat parrots and electrifying the innocent citizens of Topanga Canyon, Mike has been busy working on new MGR material with the Octopus from Dalek in NYC and here in LA with Dave Stone... pick up his CD on Neurot Recordings also at the HydraHead Store.
Aaron Turner will be taking a night off from the studio to perform a House of Low Culture set on June 20th with Animal Hospital, featuring our old friend Kevin Micka. This show will be at the Mountain Bar in Chinatown, Los Angeles.
The band will be entering the studio this month with producer/engineer Matt Bayles to begin work on the follow up to their Ipecac release, Panopticon. Last year, the band also issued he domestic release of Oceanic: Remixes and Reinterpretations.
