Slayer ads banned from Fullerton, California
Nearly twenty-five years into their musical career, Slayer is still managing to offend. The band recently saw some promotional advertising banned from the town of Fullerton, California.
The ads in question were for the band's upcoming album, Christ Illusion, due out August 8th. The city apparently
demanded that they remove the Slayer ad/artwork, reportedly because they did not like the name of the band, which they feel
refers to a murderer. They are also apparently offended by the antichrist and skull logo on the bench artwork.
