Bad Religion recording plans, Brooks touring with Tenacious D
Bad Religion drummer Brooks Wackerman has posted some bulletins about future plans for the band and for him.
Regarding the follow up to The Empire Strikes First, he had this to say:
We're basically preparing for a new record that's slated for a mid/late 2007 release.
Brett and Greg are working on songs for the upcoming recordings and as most of you know we're doing a Canadian tour with some good irish kids named The Dropkick Murphys next month in Canada only. We plan on performing songs that we haven't played in a while that we did at the X-Games/San Diego Street Scene this month-such as gems from the [Recipe For Hate] - "Watch it die," "Struck a Nerve" and possibly "All Good Solidiers."
In addition, Brooks will be handling drums for Tenacious D on their Fall/Winter trek set to kick off in the Fall and take them through the US and Europe.
The tour is in anticipation of The Pick of Destiny which stars Tenacious D members Jack Black and Kyle Gass. a trailer can be found on the band's website.
