Piebald unveil new album information
Piebald has announced some details about their upcoming full length. Titled Accidental Gentlemen, the record is due out January 2007.
According to press promises, the album is:
Propelled by a distrust of the government,
condemnation for the war and an overall concern for the environment, Piebald's
newest musical endeavor, [The album] is a riotous response to the
world we live in. With titles like "Shark Attack," "Nature Wins," and "Life on
a Farm," it isn't hard to see a theme of nature vs. man emerging from the
eco-friendly foursome on their fifth studio album.
The band worked with producer Alex Newport and was recorded solely to analog tape. The album promises: "driving, crunchy guitars, harkening back to the band's punk rock roots."
The album is the folllowup to both last year's Killa Bros and Killa Bees DVD / rarities compilation CD and the previous year's All Ears, All Eyes, All the Time, both released via SideOneDummy.
In anticipation of the release, the vegetable oil powered band will be hitting the road with Say Anything and mewithoutYou.
