Patronizing the American Public
...or are they...
ABCNEWS is reporting that Clear Channel, the world's largest group of radio stations, circulated a list of "lyrically questionable" music that should be off the air for the time being. While there were discussions at Clear Channel about offensive songs, the list has become blown out of proportion and is now more or less a hoax.
The songs include the Beastie Boys' "Sure Shot" and
"Sabotage," Green Day's "Brain Stew," The Clash's "Rock the Casbah" and many others. Clear Channel has since denied putting together the particular list that has been circulating.
