The Flaming Tsunamis' tour troubles
Experimental-ska group The Flaming Tsunamis have been forced to cancel several tour dates due to van troubles. Additionally, they are in search of a new trombonist, as their current one had to leave the band mid-tour due to an ear infection.

well, here we are sitting in the apartment of a wonderful man named Larry Firmin, you may recognize him as the trombone player for New Orleans ska band Fatter Than Albert, we recognize him as our landlord. we've been staying at his house for the past five days and as it turns out will be staying here for at least another three. Our van has broken down yet again and after being dicked around by (triple)AAA and the place that has a warranty on our faulty transmission, we are still awaiting a diagnosis of the current van problem. We've been fortunate enough to have amazing friends and fans who have helped us out more than necessary in the current situation and we can't thank everyone enough. Unfortunately this time we don't have an extra van to borrow to make up lost shows. We are left having to cancel the shows in Amarillo, TX, Las Cruces, NM and Tucson, AZ. hopefully we won't need to cancel anymore but we may need to.
we're extremely sorry for anyone that was planning on coming to see us at those shows, we wish we could have made them. We should be back on our feet in a few days and will be making a hellish 24 hr drive to Brawley CA to get back on track. Thanks again for everyone's love support and understanding in this situation. everyone be sure to track down Larry and tell him how amazing he (and his girlfriend Denelle) is.
