New Music Roundup: Climaxes, Apocalypse 81, Lovers or Liars, No One's Hero
Killing California have informed us of the release of their debut full-length, Ropeless Romantics, via Breaklight Music/No Teeth(UK). The band generates a sound that immediately brings to mind metal favorites Motorhead, though with more of a punk influence. Check out a few tracks from the album at their MySpace page.
Climaxes is the new band from Members of "Animosity" and "Look What I Did". The've recorded an instrumental demo, titled "Princess in the Peanut Gallery", to give an idea of the tone of the project. You can check out the track over at the band's MySpace page
Ontario punk band Apocalypse 81 have posted new material online. The band displays a heavily-influenced sound of 90's skate/street punk. You can listen to some songs over at their MySpace page.
Lovers or Liars is the new project started by former the frontman of Fueled by Ramen's Cadillac Blindside. Their first track "Naked Tom" is now up at the Lovers or Liars MySpace page.
No One's Hero recently released a retrospective of older material and have posted a track online. They are also looking for a drummer, so if you got what it takes to play high-energy pop-punk with some Philly boys, get in touch.
