Former Whole Wheat Bread bassist sentenced to 7 years
According to numerous reports, including Jacksonville.com, Nick Largen, formerly of Whole Wheat Bread, has been sentenced to seven years in prison for armed robbery.
While the last update about the incident acknowledged that he was facing "several years" this is the first confirmation of a sentence for the bass player. Largen had been arrested in Amherst, NY on charges of first degree robbery, but his bandmates opted to continue on with C.J. Randolph (aka Johnny Rock) of Atlanta-based El Pus, taking over bass duties.
The trio released Minority Rules in 2005 followed by the Punk Life EP earlier this week. The original lineup was also the subject of one of the very first video interviews hosted on Punknews.org.
The band is currently on the road as part of the Gold Tour, with the Bouncing Souls and the Street Dogs.
