Quote Unquote update: new EPs from Satori, The Riot Before, Chotto Ghetto
Quote Unquote Records has some news for their upcoming, first full year in existence.
Steve Borth, former sax-man of the RX Bandits and Link 80, will be taking his band Satori to the label's shores. They released their debut, Savor Every Moment on Asian Man Records in 2005.
The Riot Before will also be joining them. The RVA-based band released Horseshoes and Handgrenades on Fall of the West Records and garners comparisons to Dillinger Four, Against Me! and Jawbreaker.
Chotto Ghetto hail from Southern California and the label describes them as "Bad Brains from the late 80's [...] with a trumpet [...] and way less effects on their guitars."
All of these bands are expected to release EPs in 2007.
