Bob Dylan attempts to block movie release of Edie Sedgewick biopic 'Factory Girl'

Apparently, Bob Dylan is none-too-pleased with his role in the upcoming biopic/feature motion picture of Sixties icon Edie Sedgewick, as he is attempting to block it's release due the film's supposed claim of his role in the pop icon's death.

The film alleges that Dylan's behavior toward Sedgwick, his former lover, was indirectly responsible for her death which was caused by a supposed intentional overdose of barbituates. Sedgwick, who gained her fame through Andy Warhol's New York Factory, died in 1971 at the age of 28. Some assume that the film's title, 'Factory Girl', implies a direct correlation to Dylan.

A character said to be based on Dylan is played by Hayden Christensen, though never truly defined as him. Dylan is demanding the film not be released until he can determine if a defamation claim is legitimate.
