Rich Egan Speaks...

I called up some of the nice people at Vagrant the other day to get Rich's take on this whole mess. He was kind enough to provide the statement below.

Aubin, here is my statement regarding the whole Alkaline Trio debacle:

"I wrote a letter to Matt Skiba and the Alkaline Trio. It was never intended
for anyone else's eyes. Unfortunately, it fell into the hands of someone who
felt she had the right to not only read it, but share it with the world.
Why?
Who knows, apparently she doesn't have a life of her own so she meddles in
other peoples.

Through the magic of the Internet, the world is now privy to a problem that
is really none of their business. Matt and I have discussed not only the
letter, but what is going on with Alkaline Trio and Vagrant. Things seem to
be working towards a positive resolution. Which makes me very very happy. We
at Vagrant loved the Trio when they were on Asian Man, we love them on
Vagrant, and should they ever release records on another label, we will
continue to love them."
