Slackers discuss plans for 2007, live album/DVDs
In a posting on the bands website, Slackers bassist Marcus Geard gave a rundown on the Slackers plans for 2007, saying it will be a "bountiful" year:
So far this year is shaping up with a bountiful crop of ideas for projects in 2007. Ideas we have been floating about include: A Book of Lyrics replete with original notes, historic photos, and the actual words to What Went Wrong. A DVD possibly even 2, a live show and (Hopefully!?!) a documentary!
A new Sic n' Mad CD. Plus new Slackers tracks to download coming soon. We have lots of new songs and new ideas for projects include more live tracks, some acoustic tracks, re-arrangements of classic Slacker tunes, and a cover project that will range from Cash to Clash. I wouldn't expect it all to soon but keep your fingers crossed and keep checking [our] site and our MySpace.
The band released Peculiar in 2006.
