From First to Last loses vocalist, label, finds new ones
Some major changes coming from the From First to Last camp. The band has parted ways with vocalist Sonny Moore who left both a supporting gig with Atreyu and The Warped Tour due to vocal problems. Guitarist Matt Good has taken lead vocals in the revised group.
The band explained:
Sonny Moore has quit the band and is working on a solo career. We were in the studio writing for the new record getting ready to fly to Los Angeles to meet up with Ross Robinson and Sonny when we got the news about him leaving. We know that Sonny's departure is going to be a huge deal to a lot of our fans, and we are sorry that these things continue to happen to us (and you). We all tried to make compromises, but sometimes artists just have to do things for themselves.
Besides that, the band has parted ways with Capitol, and are the second act to announce leaving the label in less than a week. The band decided to record the album themselves.
Further to that, they managed to score a deal with Suretone, home of Angels & Airwaves, New Found Glory and others.
The group released Heroine last year.
