Tours: Public Enemy
One of the most important political hip hop acts of all time, Public Enemy has announced a formal tour set to kick off in early March. The group, though still prolific, has not toured in some time.
The group, which features mastermind Chuck D. and "hype man" Flavor Flav will be touring the United States as well as visting Canada. After the March tour, the act will head to Europe before wrapping up at the Canary Islands on the coast of Africa on April 22nd.
In 2005, Public Enemy released Power to the People and the Beats: Public Enemy's Greatest Hits, a retrospective covering much of their classic material from It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back and Fear of a Black Planet. Nation was recently ranked among the top 100 albums of all time by Time Magazine.
