Break-ups: Amazing (Royal) Crowns (1993-2001)

The Amazing Crowns have chosen to disband. Here's a snip from Jason Kendall's statement:
Well, here we are at the end of an 8 year run and I feel we owe you some explanations. It is true that Friday November 30th at Lupos in RI will be the final show that we play as the Amazing "Royal" Crowns. I think that touring as hard as we have is bound to take its toll on the members after awhile and I believe that this is what happened. Jack & Gregg approached me a few weeks after the last tour and wanted to talk about disbanding, I probably would NEVER have entertained the thought by myself (I would keep going till I drop) but now that some time has passed I can finally get my head around it. Jack wants to go back to school and Gregg has a wife at home that I'm sure he wants to spend some time with for once. I would never even consider going on under the Crowns banner without Jack or Gregg at my side, I've got way too much respect for them and all the hard work we have put in through the years together. And perhaps it's better to go out on top, while we are still close friends and the music still means something to us and to our fans? I believe that.
