Set Your Goals has one DVD in limbo, one in the works
Set Your Goals have posted an update regarding the progress of their DVD:
Hey guys, first off, an update on the Work In Progress DVD that was rumored to come out this Spring of 2007. Due
to use of copyrighted materials in the feature, Eulogy Recordings (by law) is unable to release the band produced
project until we recieve clearance on each of the non-SYG songs we've used in the edit. We are currently working
with several people on this matter, and hope to get this "Video Scrapbook of 2006" out to you guys by the end of
the year.
In the meantime, the band has decided to produce a live DVD during the California week of shows on their upcoming tour with Anti-Flag. The band hopes to get this DVD out by their Warped Tour run (June 28 - July 15). You can click Read More for more on the project and how you can be a part of it.
The band continues to tour in support of 2006's Mutiny!.
This is where all of you come in. We need video footage as seen
from the eyes of the people who attend our shows, the kids who keep the energy going out there on the floor every
night. We are asking for people to video document "the day of a show", if you will. Show us what you do with your
life outside (and then alongside) Set Your Goals. You can include interviews with your friends about anything band
and non-band related, reasons why you enjoy going to shows, what your typical school/work day is like, etc. Just
have fun with it. Then please bring the tapes to the Anti-Flag/SYG show you are attending. We'll gladly accept
tapes from anyone, and whether we're able to use the footage or not, we'll be sure to give you a huge thank you
credit along with the DVD. Due to venue policies on the upcoming tour, you will be unable to bring you camera into
the show. We will have our own video equipment with us, and anyone willing to film our set from inside the crowd,
please come visit us at our merch table before we go on every night.Lastly, and most imporantly: ALL footage contributed should be shot on Mini-DV format, as it's the only medium
we'll be able to work with for this project. If you aren't sure if your camera shoots on Mini-DV, send over your
make and model information and we'll let you know.If anyone has any questions at all, please email us at [2]xnadrojx@yahoo.com or send a myspace message here.
Thanks in advance anyone planning on helping us with this project. Once again, you guys are just as much a part of
our band as all of us are. Thank you!
