New THE RECORD TIME EP and tour dates
"After touring in support of their debut record "Dream in Color, Dream in Sound" (myAUTOMATION) this past year with the likes of Mock Orange, Counterfit, Benton Falls, Hey Mercedes to name a few, myAUTOMATION Designer Recordings has just announced the surprise release of a new THE RECORD TIME release, "ALMOST ALWAYS," a record who's existance has been hinted at for quite some time. The new ep, being released Nov 27th, will contain 3 tracks that will eventually apear on the bands full length record (aptly titled, "THE ALWAYS") and is being sold on tour for a mere $3. For those of you who are not yet familiar with this band, these kids play some of the most original and angular syncopated mathy emotional rock and roll - nothing short of incredible. The critical response to their first record has been absolutely nuts [and is posted under "read more"]. Their new winter tour dates have just been posted on their website, do yourself a favor and DO NOT miss them this winter."

"Recorded straight to 16 tracks in the good ol' city of Austin, Texas, Dream in Color Dream in Sound packs a walloping punch of pompously-confident rockitude. Spongy bass lines sop up each band member's discontent with three-chord rock, pushing the envelope of musical confrontation through a storm of notes….The Record Time glistens with the focused intent of their carefully coordinated search and destroy mission. Crass without falling into the punk niche and strikingly pensive without succumbing to emo's blandness, The Record Time showcases five solid songs that'll leave a lasting impression. "

"…Reading over a list of their popular influences would make you think that they're another everyday band, but then hearing their music completely squashes that assumption."
"…all you have to do is listen to the first track on their dream in color, dream in sound EP, "A Girl A Rose A Stage"…. But it [Dream in Color] leaves the listener paralyzed by their speakers to hear more. More of what this band can do, more of Passmore's soulful vocals (an increasingly rare thing in the indie rock community), more of this sincere and direct music…."
"Honestly, it just boggles my mind how these guys do what they do. "
