The AKAs launch Protest Art exhibition
The A.K.A.s have
announced the first three appearances of a traveling art exhibition entitled "Everybody Make Some Noise: 25 Artists C
elebrate the art of the Protest Sign." The show features 25 artists of all different mediums, from graphic designers to graffiti writers, finding a common ground in the "timeless tradition of unrest."
The show features 25 protest signs, including artists from all over the country, including designer/Illustrator Dave Quiggle (Atreyu, Sick of it All, Bury Your Dead), creative idea maker Vinnie Fiorello (Less Than Jake), and show organizer and AKAs Front Man Mike Ski (Anti-Flag, Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes.) In addition, the list features designers who are credited with developing the aesthetics of scores of today's most popluar bands.
