Shellac plans "Excellent Italian Greyhound" for June

Legendary minimalist noise trio Shellac have announced some details on their upcoming album. The record is titled Excellent Italian Greyhound and is due out June 05, 2007. It is their first new record since 2000's 1000 Hurts.

The band is fronted by noted misanthrope and wildly influential producer - though he prefers "recording engineer" - Steve Albini as well as Bob Weston of Mission of Burma and Todd Trainer of Brick Layer Cake.
