Parkway Drive enter studio
Australian metalcore regime Parkway Drive has announced that they are heading to the studio this May to record their follow-up to 2005's Killing With A Smile. The band will again be teaming up again with their producer and Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz.
Frontman Winston McCall had the following to say about the new album:
Fans can expect a heavier, faster and more precise album than Killing With A Smile". The new songs mark two years of intense touring, refinement and experience. The songs we are writing are the next step for us. We're simply putting them out there for people to make of them what they will, but rest assured as far as we are concerned this is the album we have always wanted to write.
The band just completed a US tour with Comeback Kid, It Dies Today, This Is Hell and Endwell, and will follow with tours of Europe and Japan in June, then a month of dates on the US Vans Warped Tour throughout July and August.
