Music: Holy Roman Empire posts new song, joins Rise Against on tour
Chicago's Holy Roman Empire have posted the first track from their upcoming, debut LP. You can hear "An Alliance of Thieves" at the band's MySpace page. The Longue Durée is due out June 05, 2007 via Hewhocorrupts, Inc. It's the followup to 2005's Lost in Landscapes.
The album was recorded at Atlas Studios (Rise Against, the Lawrence Arms) with Matt Allison and Neil Hennessey. The band features veterans of hardcore bands and
includes guitarist Jay Jancetic (ex-Arma Angelus, Stabbed By Words), bassist Geoff Reu (Killing Tree), drummer Tony Tintari (ex-Rise Against, Shai Hulud) as well as vocalist Emily Schambra (Long Distance Runner).
Punknews.org spoke to guitarist Neeraj Kane about the band last year.
The band will also be joining the upcoming Rise Against / Comeback Kid / Silverstein tour this summer.
