New Review Update: Tuesday, July 3, 2007
What does the Fourth of July mean to you? To me, it means not having to work while drinking on my friend's front lawn and watching half-drunken neighbors stupidly set off fireworks in the street with gaggles of eight-year-olds surrounding every pop and crackle. Ahh, independence. Anyway, yeah, Chris flaked out on posting the new reviews update news post, so here it is from me from here on in. I guess I am the reviews editor, though.
- The very male Brooklyn, NY collective Dear Tonight dropped their first full-length today entitled We're Not Men
- Ska vets the Pietasters are giving away a 3-song digital teaser EP called Don't Wanna Know in anticipation of their upcoming full-length; the least we could do is review it
- PA's Giving Chase are giving skatepunk and melodic hardcore a reason to be best friends with their new deal, A Cheap Print of a Masterpiece
- Vancouver hardcore reps Go It Alone unleashed LP2 back in May; we (I) finally got around to reviewing it now. Oh yeah, it's called Histories
- Several more over at the Punknews Review page
