New Review Update: Tuesday, July 17, 2007
Whoops, haven't done this in a while.
You'll also notice the reviews update is about 14 hours "late." Well, we never said anything about it being posted at midnight -- just on Tuesdays and Fridays. We like to lull you into a false sense of security and then BAM!, suddenly you're lost, confused, and in desperate need of your blankie.
Actually, I came back home at 2 in the morning from raging hard at Have Heart, Sinking Ships and Soul Control in Brooklyn and was not planning on anything else but inhaling leftover penne á la fettucini and hitting the hay.
- New Orgcore bros Silverstein released their third full-length a few weeks ago entitled Arrivals & Departures (it's our 6500th review by the way, whooooo!)
- Hardcore street punk vets the Unseen unleashed their God-knows-what-number LP, Internal Salvation, this past week
- Hydra Head reissued the "other" Botch full-length, American Nervoso (you know, the one that isn't getting ripped off every couple months)
- NC's metalcore sons Knives Exchanging Hands released Hiatus this past week, so I made sure to make a stupid pun in the comments
- Briefs power-pop side project Steve E. Nix and the Cute Lepers debuted with the Terminal Boredom 7"
- Several more over at the Punknews Review page
