Tours: What do you get when you combine a straight edge band with a bunch of drunks?
If you said "possibly one of the best combinations for a tour ever" you'd be right. Chicago punks [and sloppy drunks]The Lawrence Arms are hitting the road with fellow Chicagoians [and straight edgers] Rise Against in January, hitting the majority of the Southwest and getting all over California, too. Touring with them for part of the dates are soon-to-be transplanted Chicagoians The Ghost, whose debut album drops on March 5th on Some Records [by the way, the Ghost rules]. After the tour draws to a close in Kansas, The Ghost and The Lawrence Arms will continue to play around the midwest with another great Chicago band, The Honor System, while Rise Against will play a few shows with Agnostic Front and The Casualties in the midwest. What does this mean for you, the human in front of your computer? It means that there's a bunch of good rock shows coming up, so get off your ass and check them out.
