Tours: Thursday / Circle Takes the Square
Thursday has announced a few tour dates through their MySpace page where they'll be accompanied by Circle Takes the Square.
The band mentioned that they've nearly completed work on their forthcoming DVD / collections CD set, Kill the House Lights, which will reportedly compile early rarities along with three new songs. The writing for their fifth full-length will also take a brief hiatus as they'll play these few weeks' worth of shows. The first four confirmed dates are available by clicking Read More. More dates are expected.
The main supporting band will be announced later, but the band offered a cryptic hint: "These exskimos (that's short for ex-eskimos) are one of our favorite up and coming bands."
Thursday last released A City by the Light Divided in 2006 before parting ways with Island this past March; Kill the House Lights is due October 30 on Victory. Circle Takes the Square is also working on a new full-length, their last being 2004's debut As the Roots Undo.
