Beastie Boys unveil more plans for vocal version of "The Mix-Up", next album

A few months after the surprising release of a purely instrumental album from Beastie Boys, the band has begun working on a new version of the album, but Ad Rock, Mike D and MCA won't be the ones singing. The band is looking for a variety of different vocalists to contribute to the new version of the album including M.I.A., Lily Allen and Pulp's Jarvis Cocker,

But adding vocals is not all the band has planned for the record, the group is also hoping to provide a "visual" version of the record and cutting together performances and other details to make a full length feature version of the record. Following the completion of this work, the band is planning to returning to the studio at the end of this month to begin work on their next album.
