Morrissey set to record
As soon as his current tour wraps up, Morrissey will begin work on his next album. The influential singer and lyricist spoke to BBC news about the plans, saying:
The plan is to make a new album after this tour. It's absolutely written and completely ready.
You are bound to pick up influences whose lyrics are famed for incorporating social and political commentary. But when you create and write it's very important to be yourself and that's what I've always tried to do. I'm outside the mainstream, and the mainstream never let me in.
Morrissey is currently a free agent, having completed his deal with Sanctuary records will the releases of Ringleader of the Tormentors and You Are The Quarry. Maybe he'll end up on DecayDance.
