More marketing mishaps: Coheed and Cambria
In an effort to catch up with Boston and Ohio in overreactions to marketing, the University of Kansas saw plenty of fear and uncertainty after some spray–painted marketing material for Coheed and Cambria with the album's release date – October 23, 2007 – sparked fears of impending violence.
The school's campus police were swamped with phone calls and questions about the date and many students avoided the campus on the fateful date. Of course, all that happened was the release of Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World For Tomorrow which may have a long title, but is probably not too dangerous.
