The Aquabats plan New York City and Pomona shows, pilot premiere
The Aquabats have announced a one–off New York City show and a benefit show in Pomona, CA next month. The benefit show is for the band's friend Tony Carbone who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Tony is formerly of Bikeride and is currently an elementary school teacher. The band will share the bill with Supernova and Fluf. You can find more details about the show right here.
The New York City event is to also provide the band with a venue to premiere parts of the pilot for their new TV program which will attempt to document their "many mis–adventures."
The show is set to take place at the Gramercy in New York City on February 13th and will kick off at 7pm with DJ Lance Rock. The tickets are $16.00 and you can pick them up here.
Speaking of television programs, frontman MC Bat Commander's recent children's show, Yo Gabba Gabba was declared as one of the best television shows of 2007 by Time Magazine last month.
