By the End of Tonight looking for new drummer
Do you think you have what it takes to pound the skins for an instrumental rock/indie group? Well, you just may be in luck. Alvin, Texas' By the End of Tonight announced via MySpace that they are actively seeking someone to take over drums. They urge anyone interested to get in touch with them.
The band released a split with Tera Melos titled Complex Full Of Phantoms last year.

Hello everyone.
Most of you know that we were searching for a new drummer in the Fall last year, and it ended up that things started looking up for Jeff to continue playing in the band. Of course, being stoked on the idea of keeping Jeff, we stopped looking for drummers. This resulted in us not contacting some of you who wrote us about tryouts, and really resulted in us giving up on finding someone else.
Now it looks as though the plans we had with Jeff are most likely not going to work out. We are very bummed about this, but Jeff has a life outside of this band that is way to big to put aside at this time. Jeff is still in the band at this moment, and we will be playing shows with him as well. If in some magical way Jeff can stay in this band, of course we will keep him, but chances of that are looking slim.
This means that we are going to be asking for anyone and everyone who feels they could play drums for us to contact us.
We have so many plans for this band right now, and it would be a terrible idea to give up on it because one of us are no longer able to pursue it. We are putting all we have into writing a new full length right now, and there are some very big plans for when this album comes out. We are really excited about what is in store for us, and would love more than anything in the world to find a drummer who loves this music as much as we do. If you feel like this could be you please respond to us.
We would also like to apoligize for when we were looking for drummers last year. At that time we were practicing with a drummer to tour with, and Jeff was still most likely going to work for us, so we put the "new drumer search" on the back burner. This time we promise to respond to every message, and hold tryouts with anyone willing to play with us.
Please contact us if you are interested. Leave your name, and phone number, any links of you playing, and anything you think we should know about you. We will get back to you asap. Thanks a ton. - BTEOT
