The Stickup getting back together for two shows
Burlington, Ontario's The Stickup will get back together for a pair of shows this spring. The band will play Sneaky Dee's in Toronto on April 26th followed by a May 2nd appearance at the West Side Theatre in Hamilton, Ontario. The band are planning for a new EP to be available at these shows featuring a number of previously unrecorded tracks. However the band announced:
We are not reuniting. Because of this, we will not being playing in town X anytime soon (unless X=hamilton or toronto). We have no plans to tour again. We're just playing these shows to make up for our anticlimactic exit from the music world in 2006. So while we appreciate your enthusiasm and interest, we will not being leaving a 40 minute radius of our homes to play a show. No America, No Scandinavia, No Mexico.
The band released Please, Disease in 2006 on Verona Records. Band members David Partridge and Ryan Bruce are currently playing in Ages.
