Another club bites the dust.

"It's kinda a sad day for everyone in the Quad Cities area [or the midwest even]. The club known as Peabody's [or Chai Cafe if you wanna be an asshole about it] has closed its door for good due to the fact that they simply couldn't pay the rent. They needed $4,000 by today, and it just didn't happen. Now I hope another club opens!"
This totally sucks, I currently reside in the Quad Cities and have seen many a show kick ass at the Chai. People need to step up...
UPDATE: Word has just come through that the Chai was able to raise enough rent at the last second to keep the place open, now with new management. If you want to be booked there, email Grace at punkypunkmcrad@hotmail.com.
