Wolfbrigade cancel U.S. tour, delay LP
Wolfbrigade has been forced to cancel their upcoming U.S. tour, as well as push back the release of their next album.
Despite all the hard work all the organizers have done with setting up the tour, and despite how massive the response from all the punks out there has been, all this with Profane Existence Records suddenly stopping their operations and haveing no way to front the money for the planetickets, have lead to us decide that there is no way that we can do the tour...

Finding an ideal recordlabel and make sure they have time to get testpressings done in time etc, is just too time and energy consuming. And we needed to have the records out on tour to be able to make ends meet financially, especially with the bad economy your country is suffering from at the moment.
We don't want to stress this record and get an halfassed final product out when we have spent so many hours and money in the studio/practiceplace and are so damned proud of "Comalive"… We'll just have to wait a bit longer for you to hear it.
Also, even though I know we probably could fix the financing the tickets - I know Gilman Street was looking into the possibilities for one, a HUGE thanks for that - it's already long over due since when we had said that we needed to fix the tickets in the first place. On our side of the pond they are already several 100 of dollars more expensive then back when we said we'd get them. We can't risk waiting longer - especially if we're not gonna have the records on tour, so we don't have any options left.
Big thanks to everyone that has been looking into possibilities to come up with a solution, we really appreciate it!!
Without label and finances we can't fix things on this short notice, especially since we are unable to have a bandmeeting at this point since we are all out travelling right now; 2 members are in Germany, one is in San Fransisco, one is in Thailand and one is still in Sweden, leaving for 2 weeks of work at before anyone returns. Bad fucking timing.
Everything looked perfect. PE was gonna release our new album + some re-issues for the tour, PE would help us with tickets, Robert Collins and Chris ATU agreed to help booking and driving, the tour looked amazing when it was booked, we were gonna play our first date ever in Mexico, play with friends in Guided Cradle, DSB, WBTD, Behind Enemy Lines and a bunch of other rad bands, meet old and new friends, we got excited emails every day from people who was looking forward to the gigs. Felt like one of those "Now or never" things. Words can not describe how FUCKING BUMMED and frustrated we are over the fact that nothing of this is happening now…
When everyone returns in August we are gonna try to solve things. "Comalive" will eventually be released. And hopefully one day we can make it up for all of you who have been worked hard for this US tour and everyone who were looking forward to seeing us play.
