Terror Tour Journal: Episode 2
Los Angeles-based hardcore outfit Terror are currently on a huge US tour in support of their third full-length release, The Damned, The Shamed, which just hit stores via Century Media. We were able to get Scott Vogel to start keeping a tour journal which we will be publishing here on Punknews.org.

So today has been a great day so far. Woke up and shaved. A few of us
went to bank of America to exchange the money from Canada. Next we hit
the post office and got some money orders to send out to people we owe
money too for merch and stuff. Last to a shell station to take
everthing out of the van, wet wipe and vacuum the inside and throw out all the
trash that has piled up in the van. So you may be thinking that sounds
like a shitty day running around and doing stuff. I guess a clean van
really makes me feel better and traveling with lots of money isn't too
smart. We got the trailor spare tire fixed yesterday and sat am were
getting an oil change. So for everyone that thinks tour is all fun and
hanging and drinking and great shows and stuff that's some insight
into
the ugly truth. Ill make a list of other things on tour that suck
Living in a van and hotel room with 7 other dudes
Gas prices
Wearing dirty clothes cause you have no clean ones left
Annoying guest list calls from people you wonder how the fuck they got
your number
Security guards
Driving all night without a shower
People that just post up and want to just hang out when your busy as
fuck
Having your friends be super excited to party and get drunk. For
them
its their one night out a week and you do this everyday and they get
all
bummed when you say "man I just don't feel like drinking and getting
crazy tonight."
The pros still outweight the cons but at times tour is hard and I just
want to be home. I'm not saying right now cause I'm super happy in
this
tour. Its great. Just like the dark night.
