Frank Daly talks about Big Drill Car reunion

Recently reactivated 80s and 90s-era pop-punk outfit Big Drill Car's vocalist Frank Daly recently spoke to Mean Street about the band'd decision to reunite:

Oh, of course. I had trepidation about singing when I did it every day, you know. That never really stopped. But once we got that first practice out of the way and sort of kind of tested things, I feel a bit better about it now than I did ever before. It seems like, personally, I made it much more complicated and difficult than it had to be when we were doing it. And coming back now and re-doing it, it's like, God, I've got the easiest job of all these guys. All I have to do is stand here and move my lips.

The original Big Drill Car lineup will feature the band's original performed together for the first time in over 15 years at the August 14th and August 17th Warped dates.

Big Drill Car released an EP, Small Block, in 1988 before being signed to Cruz Records (owned by former Black Flag guitarist Greg Ginn) and releasing two studio albums. The band eventually parted ways with that label and signed to Headhunter Records, who released No Worse for the Wear, the band's final album. Big Drill Car broke up in 1995
