Red Scare to release next Menzingers album, additional Red Scare "updates"
Philiadelphia's The Menzinger's have announced plans to release their next EP via Red Scare Industries. The label's CEO; the infamous Tobias Jeg, explains:
Good grief, kids! Yeah, we DO have plans for 2009, okay? Big, big plans too!
It's like this, yo.
As you know, there will be new releases from Cobra Skulls and Sidekicks. The Copyrights dorks have been schemin' and Teenage Bottlerocket has some songs too. We shall see! But we're still compiling songs for our Swingin' Utters tribute and I am told we are just waiting on the Dropkick Murphys. Them's just rumors though. What I do know is that bands like Teenage Bottlerocket, Off With Their Heads, La Plebe, Dillinger Four, Useless ID, and many more have done their part.
In regards to new blood, Red Scare is proud to announce that we'll be working with the Menzingers from Philadelphia! Those little bastards have been playing their hearts out around the country and we're happy to have them aboard. We're shooting for a 4-song EP out by May. Stoked! Those guys will be touring all year and whatnot too. Now let's hear it for the Electric DeSean Jackson!
Any last words? Sure. TBR is going to Europe soon, The Copyrights are gonna be in Alternative Press, and The Falcon is doing "something" in 2009. There's your fuckin' news!
