Lookout goes old school for Ben Weasel

From the Lookout news letter: "BEN WEASEL'S debut solo album, which was recorded in Chicago in February and produced by Mass Giorgini. It's called Fidatevi. Many of you might be curious as to what it sounds like, but you're going to have to wait until it's released to find out. We aren't going to release any early MP3s or send out promotional copies of the record for review or college radio until after it's been released. These days, everyone jumps the gun and you can buy overpriced advance copies of new records on Ebay before the record is even out. We're going to try doing this record the way we used to. There will certainly be MP3s and promos of Fidatevi available but not until the album is in stores. I will say that the album is excellent; it's what you'd want from a BEN WEASEL album, but at the same time it's also a lot more. The album rocks with Ben's incredible brand of punk song writing, but it's also a personal and positive album - more introspective than you might imagine."
